• You chose the Chinese version of iTools - and mixed up the buttons on the screen, not knowing their location in the English version of the iTools installer, and pressed the wrong button in the right place. Do not use the Chinese version without knowing Chinese.

iTunes installation fails due to Windows Installer service failures

Among the sudden reasons for iTools failure during the installation stage may be the incorrect operation of the Windows Installer component. To try to figure it out, do the following.

1. Open the Windows Services application. To do this, give the command Start - Run, enter services.msc.
2. Launch the built-in Windows Services component.
3. Find out what other services the Windows Installer service depends on by opening its properties and checking its settings.

• One of your PC's chipset drivers is not installed. Also a very rare error. Reinstall this driver using the installation disc that came with your PC, or contact your computer manufacturer's website.
• The USB cable is damaged. Repair the break, eliminate the internal short circuit of any cable wires, or replace the cable if the insulation is broken or the USB plug or interface plug for the gadget is damaged.
• Weak USB port. It's rare, but it's possible. It is possible that the gadget does not have enough power when recharging the battery, or the voltage of the USB port has dropped significantly. Use a hub (USB-Hub) with external (additional) power.
