Not Enough Items is another mod for things for Minecraft, with which you can get any block, item and even mob without running around the map in search and without using crafting for this. But one of its main differences from mods like Recipe Book is that NEI can also show crafting recipes for all things and blocks right in the game and you don’t need to look for this information on the Internet. It supports most modifications that add new things to Minecraft and also displays recipes for crafting them. In addition, the mod will also show stove recipes and potion recipes, and it can also enchant objects in a couple of moves. This useful feature will save you a lot of time, which you can spend in the game exploring the world or building the house or city of your dreams.

Distinctive features of Not Enough Items

  • You can get any blocks, items, things or resources.
  • Enchantment (X button).
  • Ability to change weather, time and game modes.
  • Magnet function to attract objects around the player.
  • You can see recipes for crafting, baking and potions. “Recipes” mode – “R” button; “Use” mode – “U” button.
  • Mods are supported that add new items and recipes to the game.
  • Can heal the player. Heart button.
  • There is a search by name.
  • Save and quickly access your own set of items.
  • Support for online play (multiplayer).

Some details

Recipes in this mod have two functions: Recipes and Use. Hover your mouse over the item you are interested in and press “R” (Recipes) or “U” (Use) you will switch to the corresponding modes. The recipes show all the available crafting options for this item. Use shows where this item is used as a crafting resource.

Search (black rectangle below) makes it possible to find any item. You can use the symbols * and?. The search results will appear in the panel on the right.

The "Item Subsets" button will show you all the options for the item you selected. For example, by selecting a pickaxe and pressing this button, you will be shown several types of it from different materials (wood, stone, metal, gold, etc.).

By clicking on the "X" you will open the enchantment menu. Place the item you want to enchant on the table, then select the effect and enchantment level. Maximum enchantment level is 10.

The Trash can button has 4 functions. The basket itself works both in your inventory and in any that you can open, chests for example.

  1. To delete, take the item and left-click on the trash can.
  2. Shift+LMB with an item in hand removes all items of that type from the inventory.
  3. Shift+LMB with empty hands will clear your inventory.
  4. Simply pressing the left button on the cart will open the cart mode. In this mode, left click on an item will remove it, and shift+left click will remove all items of that type.

You can save up to 7 states of your inventory. Right-clicking on a saved state will allow you to rename it. A cross will remove it. Saves are a global thing and can be transferred both between worlds and even between

This is an updated version of the Not Enough Items mod for items and crafting recipes for the latest versions of Minecraft. In general, it became the successor to such mods as TooManyItems and Recipe Book. Essentially, he combined their functionality and added a bunch of his own useful stuff. Here you immediately get all the things and all the crafting recipes, regardless of whether it’s standard Minecraft or with a hundred mods installed, you can view, receive and use all the things and all the recipes from all the mods at your discretion.

If anyone doesn’t know or maybe hasn’t seen this mod, I’ll say that I really like it. Each item in Minecraft with the Not Enough Items mod can be viewed from two sides:

  1. What can it be made from, i.e. his crafting recipe ("R" button),
  2. Where is this item, in what recipes is it used ("U" button).
Crafting recipe display mode
Display mode where this item is used

The mod has a cool system for finding things. And you don't have to write the whole name. Even if you only know part of the item's name or even a couple of letters, this may be enough. To search, enter what you want to find in the black rectangle at the very bottom of the screen and the filter will display only those things in which these letters appear in exactly the order in which you wrote them. You can also use symbols such as “*” and “?”. An asterisk replaces any number of characters, but a question replaces only one character. For example: you know that a thing begins with blo but you don’t know what happens next, then write blo*, and if you don’t know just one letter, you can write bl?ck and it will show you everything where the words “black” and “block” occur.

How search works

In addition to searching, you can filter things by type and different groups. Click the Item Subsets button and select what you need from the drop-down list.

Right from here, from the Not Enough Items interface, you can enchant items.

For lovers of integration, there is also an API.

Just Enough Items, this is a very useful mod that can add many features to Minecraft and thus, it can improve your overall experience. If you used or before this, you will be familiar with how it works. However, unlike these two mods, the mod's only items are significantly easier to use and because of this, its path is more accessible to the average minecraft user. The main mod is attention to stability and performance, which is why you see that it doesn't have even the slightest impact on the game's performance.

Just Enough Items mod for Minecraft 1.15.2 1.15.1 1.14.4 1.13.2 1.12.21.11.2 1.11 1.10.2 1.10 1.9.4 , which was designed to view items and their crafting recipes right in the game, so you don't have to keep the crafting page open for a certain mod or if you have a lot of mods open a lot of tabs to get the information you're looking for. Along with displaying recipes for each item, it can also display the usage of a specified item, which can be quite useful in many scenarios. This mod's keyboard shortcuts are pretty easy to get the hang of so within a few minutes of using it you'll have a pretty stable grasp of how it works.

Just Enough Items has many features to offer, but perhaps the most useful feature is the one that brings to the lookup table. To use this panel all you have to do is click Ctrl+F, then enter the name of any item and it will give all the information you need. The search function allows you to search for items that have been implemented using mods. All said and done, this is a very convenient and useful mod that will save you quite a lot that you would have spent on tedious searching.

The new inventory extension is as minimalistic as possible. The Just Enough Items (JEI) mod allows you to view crafting recipes for any items from vanilla Minecraft and modifications. The window does not contain cheating functions and this differs from NEI. However, the function of automatic crafting of any items will greatly simplify the gameplay. Players will be able to create any item in a couple of clicks, but first they need to download Just Enough Items 1.12.2, 1.11.2, 1.10.2, 1.9.4, 1.9 or 1.8 and install the mod in Minecraft.

Peculiarities

  • Simple functionality and more convenient installation without additional files. Any beginner can install the Just Enough Items mod on Minecraft.
  • Convenient management and viewing of resources.
  • To view a recipe, just hover over the item cell and click R.
  • The mod is indispensable, because developers often don’t make recipes for things and you have to use similar modifications.
